Fabric Frenzy

I'm not sure if any of you have seen this bedspread from UrbanOutfitters, but I'm totally in love with it and would like to get eloped as soon as possible. It's whimsical, it's retro, it's bold, it's perfection.

Isn't it super nice? I ended up buying 2 shower curtains with the pattern on it for 19.99$. One will be used as a shower curtain and the spare will hopefully have enough yardage to make into a dress.

Now, I only learned how to use my sewing machine a week ago, but I'm very optimistic :)
Once I take a patterns class I'll be able to whip up a cute little dress in no time. I just hope the print won't be too large. I'll just have to wait and see!

I also picked up this adorable looking book at Urban O. for $11.99
The illustrations really intrigued me.
And this is a featured page of the book:

Cute, don't you think? I like her style of drawing and thought I'd try replicating it for some drawing practice. I love the little outfits. For $12 bucks and free shipping I couldn't resist.

And this little fella was really calling to me, but I just could bring myself to bring him home:

Ahhh! I love it so much! You can't help but give a little smile looking at this delightful little guy. The only reason he's not being shipped to my house this very moment is because my mom insisted there was no way it would hang on her Christmas tree. Sad!!

Maybe I'll snatch him up when it goes on sale after Christmas...

Have a happy Monday Everyone! (and happy birthday Tom Delonge, I've loved you since fifth grade and I still remember your birthday after all these years! Hehe, creepy. ANYWAYS >_>, you and your sexy lip ring rock!!)
